Biometric time clock for good business
With recession heavily impacting the business world in the recent years many companies have been trying to cut down their cost by reducing their staff members. This actually damages the reputation of the company as an employer. However, what these employers fail to understand is that they can maximize the budget of their existing HR by keeping better track of their hourly basis employees. The best way to cut down cost significantly is by using a biometric time clock. It is the latest trend that is sweeping the globe and every business is trying to have a bite of it because of their obvious advantage.
Electronic time clocks are still the most popular alternative in the market but the technology has its shortfalls, which makes it less efficient. For example, employees can easily manipulate the system by simply substituting them with their friends. The PINS or simply known as swipe access cards are especially susceptible to this kind of trick. This trick, which is commonly known as buddy punching system is responsible for costing companies millions of dollars. Biometric time clock eliminates this problem as it works like a traditional punch card timer.
In such an advanced technology instead of swiping a card or something, it scans your hand and only when it has recognized your fingerprints then it will activate the timer. Many of these advanced machines use retinal scans and identifies the employee without fail. Biometric time clock uses advance technology, which can’t be fooled in any way. Thus it saves a lot of money from being wasted. These technological marvels actually have easy to handle software, which allows company employers to easily program and ingrate it with the company’s system. A standard biometric system may cost around 200 dollars, which is quite cheap as well.

My diplomat electric oven clock and timer won't set!?
How the hell do I set this thing? It just keeps flashing 'auto', then '0.00', and it won't respond to anything I do. The oven won't come on if the clock isn't set. What a useless design. Aarrgh!

Thanks Buster, that sounds like my problem. I'l leave it overnight to see if it'll dry out, coz it won't reset.
This digital clock poss has a Little moisture within the electronics or the logic is messed up.
I had the same problem.
Locate your isolation switch for the oven power. Should be a cooker switch above the workspace (if correctly installed) if not use the rcd on your consumer unit (fuse box)?
switch the oven off the on again quickly using the above switch. try the a few times if it does not work.
until the logic resets itself and the display will show the little cooking pot symbol again.
